Can’t believe it’s been a year this week that two of our Plays in Days team members were faces in the crowd in the F5K crowd for a brief moment of our day at The Chosen filming Season 3, Episode 8. I loved hearing Jonathan Roumie (who plays Jesus) preach the parable of the Sower and the Soils with such authority. Hot and muggy or not, it was mesmerizing, thinking back to what it must have been like. Everybody who was at the filming is a SURVIVOR but expecially Dallas Jenkins and the whole cast and crew! The experience made me proud of our Plays in Days Bible plays and skits with a sense of humor. It has not always been accepted to not approach portraying Bible stories with humor, wit, and imagination. But The Chosen has broken that mold in a very big way, and I think it might help Plays in Days Bible skits and plays get used more. I’m grateful for that and so much more! Hope you know you are more than a face in a crowd!
