Plays in Days Team member, Shannon (find her at BeCentered on Etsy) used a straw hat from a thrift store and created several different Bible era hats out of it. Using different pieces of cloth, two scarves, and a washcloth, we were going for a 1st Century man’s hat, some rustic, some not. Costumes in The Chosen TV show were our inspiration. Many of our Plays in Days skits and plays are faith-based, so we’re always up for learning more about making authentic looking Bible Era costumes. Be watching for the HOW-to video soon.
